[World Heritage Site: Shenyang Imperial Palace] The dragon on the pillar of the Chongzheng Hall is a spectacular sight

The Shenyang Palace Museum, along with the Beijing Palace, is a World Heritage Site as one of the "Imperial Palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties." It was the capital of the early Qing dynasty, and even after the capital was moved from Shenyang to Beijing, it continued to flourish as a villa.
The palace is divided into three areas: the East Road, the Middle Road, and the West Road. The East Road was built by the first emperor. The Great Government Hall, where the emperor worked, is an octagonal building modeled after a nomadic ger, and its unique shape is a must-see. Five buildings are built on either side of the Great Government Hall, with the dragons on the pillars of the Chongzheng Hall, where the emperor worked, are perhaps modeled after a battle formation?
The Middle Road was the area for the second emperor, and the dragons on the pillars of the Chongzheng Hall, where the emperor worked, are impressive. Passing the Chongzheng Hall, you come to a higher area, which is the harem. At the top of the steps is the massive Phoenix Tower, which serves as the main gate to the harem.
The West Road is lined with small and medium-sized buildings. It is less well-maintained than the East and Middle Roads, and I felt that it has remained almost the same since those days. This is also good.
