On October 27, 2019, the Hongmei Cultural and Creative Park in Tiexi District, Shenyang City officially opened. Here, Japanese, Soviet, and modern industrial buildings are scattered, showing the historical industrial marks. Bookstores, show venues, and art galleries are gathered here, with a strong modern cultural atmosphere.
The old factory building abandoned by the original Shenyang Hongmei Group with a history of 80 years has transformed into a cultural and creative park, enhancing the city's cultural heritage and also reproducing the historical appearance of the old industrial city.

The Hongmei Group was founded in 1939. It was originally a Manchurian agricultural chemical industry corporation factory opened by Japanese businessmen. In 1998, it was restructured and established the Shenyang Hongmei Enterprise Group Co., Ltd., which was once the leading enterprise in domestic MSG production.
Due to various reasons, the Hongmei Group declared bankruptcy in 2014, leaving only about 60,000 square meters of factory area and 13 remaining industrial factory buildings. Therefore, the Tiexi District Government and Vanke introduced international design resources to start the Hongmei Cultural and Creative Park, an industrial heritage renovation and upgrade project.

📝Note tips:
I went there by bike after having chicken rack noodles in the morning. It took 20 minutes to ride.
Personally, I feel it's pretty good. The park is not big, there are not many people, although it's all about eating, there are many internet-famous stores, it's good for taking pictures and walking the baby.
