Luxury in the Clouds: A Full Review of the Hyatt Regency Shenyang

During my trip to Shenyang, I finally got to stay at the Hyatt Regency Shenyang, a hotel I had long wanted to visit. As the tallest building in Northeast China, it offers an amazing experience.

Great Location

The hotel is located at 288 Qingnian Street and is seamlessly connected to MixC, making shopping and entertainment extremely convenient. The bustling mall is just downstairs, so you can shop to your heart's content.

Great Soundproofing and Hygiene

The hotel has great soundproofing, allowing you to enjoy a quiet rest in the bustling city. The hygiene is also excellent, with the rooms being clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay.

Spacious Rooms

I stayed in an executive suite with an area of 115 square meters, which was very spacious. As soon as I entered the room, I was greeted by a large floor-to-ceiling window with a view of the city of Shenyang. The night view was especially beautiful. The suite was well laid out, with the living room, bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet all clearly divided and spacious.

High-Quality Amenities and Facilities

The bed is made of King Koil, which is soft and comfortable, making it hard to get up. The bathroom is dry and wet separated, with double sinks and a bathtub facing the floor-to-ceiling window, allowing you to enjoy the view while taking a bath. The toiletries are Balmain, with a unique and elegant fragrance. The hotel also has an automatic toilet lid, which can be a bit of a surprise at times, but is also a technological experience. The room has wooden floors, which are very textured. However, I hope the issue of the scale running out of battery can be improved.

Variety of Dining Options

Breakfast is served at The Lounge on the 26th floor, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes. The freshly cooked Shenyang Laobian dumplings are a must-try, with an authentic taste. The afternoon tea at the executive lounge is exquisite and perfect for taking photos. The hotel's Italian restaurant is a Black Pearl one-diamond restaurant, with an elegant environment and exquisite dishes. Although the price is a bit high, the quality is definitely worth it.

From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the quality service of a five-star hotel. The staff is always smiling and attentive, making you feel at home.

Average Cost

The executive suite is priced at over CNY 3,000 per night, but the company agreement price during the Spring Festival did not have any additional charges. If you have a sufficient budget, this hotel will definitely give you an unforgettable stay.

Nearby Attractions

The Kerry Center across the street from the hotel is less crowded, making it more comfortable to visit. The Youth Park in front of the hotel is also a great place for a leisurely stroll. There is also a small bakery nearby called Xiangnan, which has great matcha rice bread and matcha bagel bread, worth a try.
