A Southern Friend's Trip to Shenyang: Beautiful Scenery at Xiaoshi Yizhuang, Enjoying Comfort at Haoze Hotel

I always feel that holidays should be spent with like-minded friends. This time, I invited a few girlfriends from the south, and we headed north to Shenyang, hoping to find a unique travel memory in this northern city. The first stop of our journey, Xiaoshi Yizhuang in Benxi, gave us a full dose of surprise.

As soon as we stepped into Xiaoshi Yizhuang, we were stunned by the scenery and couldn’t move our feet. It felt like a hidden paradise favored by time, surrounded by green mountains, with flowing water, various lush plants growing freely, and the air filled with the fresh scent of grass and trees. It was completely different from the humid scenery of the south, yet equally intoxicating. What caught our eyes even more was the architecture here, full of distinctive style. Wooden eaves, exquisite window frames, and a well-arranged layout—every detail showed thoughtful design. Standing in any corner and pressing the shutter would capture a photo full of atmosphere.

We strolled slowly along the paths, stopping by the flowing water to watch fish playing in it; then taking group photos in front of the unique buildings, capturing each other's smiling faces. When night fell, Xiaoshi Yizhuang transformed into an enchanting scene. Lights lit up one after another—warm yellow, light blue, and pink-purple lights twined around tree branches and building exteriors, decorating the entire park like a dream. The lights reflected on the water surface, creating shimmering ripples. We walked along the lighted paths, as if stepping into a fairy tale world. Our cameras couldn’t stop clicking, wanting to capture every bit of this stunning view.

After having fun to our heart’s content, we drove to Haoze Hotel in Shenyang. Opening the door to the reserved triple room, we were instantly impressed by the spacious and bright room. The ample space made it comfortable for the three of us to hang out without feeling cramped. The room was clean and tidy, with simple yet cozy furniture, helping us unwind from the day’s fatigue. What warmed our hearts even more was the hotel’s service—from the staff’s enthusiastic guidance at check-in to their prompt responses whenever needed, every detail showed thoughtfulness. The hotel facilities were also very complete; whether it was the toiletries provided or the electrical appliances in the room, we felt cared for and convenient.

In the evening, we cozied up in the room, sharing photos taken during the day and chatting about the fun moments of the trip, laughing nonstop. The next morning, waking up in the comfortable bed with sunlight streaming through the window was warm and pleasant. Looking back on this trip, the beautiful scenery of Xiaoshi Yizhuang was unforgettable, the comfort of Haoze Hotel reassuring, and the time spent with friends made the journey truly meaningful. This Shenyang trip fulfilled all our imaginations of a wonderful holiday and became a precious memory in our hearts.
