A Short Trip to Shenyang: A Fairytale and Gentle Double Check-in with My Bestie

After eagerly waiting for a long time, the holiday finally arrived. I grabbed my bestie and headed straight to Shenyang, turning two days and one night into sweet memories.

The first stop was the much-anticipated Joy Wedding Art Center. Opening the door felt like stepping into a fairytale forest—everywhere you looked was a gentle set, and every corner seemed tailor-made for photos. The biggest surprise was the spiral staircase; as the skirt swayed lightly with each step, the scenes captured in the lens came with a built-in romantic filter. There was also a single-person mirror—posing in front of it, even casual shots could be instantly shared on social media. We held our phones, snapping each other, laughing and playing around. The sound of the shutter was full of uncontrollable joy, and every photo was the "best of the day."

We played until the sun set, then checked into the Haoze Hotel in Shenyang, finally shedding our fatigue. Walking into the room, I was healed by the words "spacious and bright"—there was no sense of confinement, even breathing felt easier. What surprised me most was the clothes hanger in the room; hanging up the wrinkled clothes from the trip, they were surprisingly smooth and fresh the next day. The details were full of thoughtfulness. The front desk and housekeeping were also exceptionally warm and friendly; a simple "Do you need any help?" instantly added warmth to this unfamiliar city.

This short trip had no rush to visit attractions, only the tacit companionship of my bestie, along with the double satisfaction of fairytale scenes and comfortable accommodation. It turns out happiness doesn’t require going far—such simple little joys are enough to savor for a long time.
