Stunning nighttime views of Shenzhen

Lianhuashan park is one of my favourite spots in Shenzhen and the best place to see the skyline at night. The park is a huge landscaped oasis in the heart of the city and it’s such a nice way to escape the hustle and bustle.

Located in futian you can reach it via numerous metro stations around the outside including children’s palace, liamhuashan, donggualing and lianhua north.

The park has many different areas to explore including a lake, kite park and pathways through the forests. But the best spot in the evening Is the mountain top for the views of the city.

Shenzhen is such a new city it was designed with decades of experience and hindsight from other cities, and seeing this from up high really helps you take everything in.

You are able to see the full civic Center and downtown, and put across the city along Shenzhen bay. If you’re lucky enough you can be at the top for the Shenzhen light shows where all the skyscrapers are illuminated in coordinated displays.

If you want to make an evening of it you can take in the views then head to the upper hills mall via a bridge for dinner.
