Drone Delivery In The Park, Experience The Future In Shenzhen. It’s Amazing

China is infamous for it’s rapid development over the last few decades and the pinnacle of this is it’s show city of Shenzhen, A bustling metropolis of over 20 million people on the border of Hong Kong. Just under 40 years ago the city was nothing more than a fishing village and a train station before the Hong Kong border, now it’s one of the fastest growing cities in the world.

I have lived here for over 5 years now and I love the city, and I am so happy to see it getting the attention it deserves. The ease and convenience of this city is unmatched, the way that technology has been integrated into everyday life is second to none. And now there are drone delivery spots popping up all over the city, the best one for me is in the Lianuashan Park just to the north of the Futian CBD.

The park is one of the best in the city and offers incredible 360 degree views from the mountain peak, and now it offers drone delivery. There are two locations at the south entrance of the park and you can use your Meituan app to order from a range of places for coffee, tea, fast food and snacks. Simply scan the code, place your order and wait for your drone to fly over! It will land in the box and securely deliver your package, there is even a specific bin to help recycle the packaging. You can then take the product and head to the top of the park to enjoy the views, and your food! If you are in Shenzhen you have to experience it just to tell all your friends that you did it before them! Coming to a city near you soon :)
