CITIC Gold Sand Bay | A niche summer retreat in Shenzhen

Shenzhen has many beaches, but the ones suitable for swimming are either too crowded or the water is too dirty.
Why not check out the niche summer beach in Shenzhen—CITIC Gold Sand Bay?
If you have a sufficient budget, it's recommended to book the Marriott directly, as the hotel is a resort and is very close to the beach and Water World.
Parking is also free. My friends and I booked a homestay and drove there, thinking of parking at the Marriott parking lot🅿️, but the parking fee was 60RMB/h! So we drove off in the middle of the night, haha (just kidding).
-
We had to keep driving forward, and navigated to 'Pengfei Park' to park on the roadside of Jinsanda Avenue East opposite the park (no ticketing).
From the parking lot to the beach, you have to pass by Water World, which also seems fun, and if you have enough time, you can visit both places.
-
The changing rooms and toilets🚾 are a bit far from the beach, so to save time, it's suggested to change into your swimsuit👙 (with an easy-to-take-off coat on top) and head straight there!
-
This beach is not a man-made pure sand beach🏖️; the sand is mixed with natural ecological debris like pebbles and shells🐚, which can be a bit sharp on the feet, so be careful when walking.
-
The beach has a designated swimming area, and you can only swim within the enclosed space, which feels very safe.
But I, who hadn't swum in the sea for a long time, still choked on a few mouthfuls of water, and the seawater is extremely salty! And it stings the eyes🙈.
It's recommended for those who want to swim to prepare sunscreen, swimming goggles, and lifebuoys.
The waves in the evening🌊 are huge, more fun than the wave pool in the water park! Really happy.
-
Another area is the play zone, 🈶 with speedboats🚤 and the like, and there's something similar to a banana boat called Pikachu, which also looks super fun. Hurry and take your friends to play!!!
