Finally understand why Wang Yibo loves The Raffles at Shenzhen Bay

Don't even think about room upgrades during holidays - all room types above 270 were fully booked when booking directly with hotel sales, which was a pity. Ended up booking the Deluxe Sea View Room, and the price difference compared to city view rooms proved absolutely worthwhile. The 60+ sqm room features floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the magnificent Shenzhen Bay sea view immediately upon entering past the art installation - truly breathtaking at first glance, but the details are disappointing upon closer inspection. The glass exterior walls were extremely dirty, hard to believe this is Raffles' maintenance standard. The room is spacious but feels poorly designed - just "big for the sake of bigness". Also unacceptable for a luxury hotel to have such a tiny bathtub. Minibar is fully complimentary, with full-sized Frédéric Malle Cologne Indélébile amenities, though I personally prefer their Eau de Magnolia. Welcome fruits included cherries and blueberries, but the blueberries were tiny and tasteless - clearly no effort put into this aspect.

Strongly recommend booking with club privileges here. The slight price difference for club access is absolutely worth it for sunset views at the 71st-floor Long Bar. Reserved window seats in advance - environment and service were top-notch, though the food was underwhelming.

Breakfast at Star Gallery was average with nothing outstanding, except their excellent pan-fried dumplings - plump and juicy.

Foodies rejoice! Authentic Chinese and Western cuisines here perfectly blend creativity and flavor. Must-try [signature dishes] will blow your mind! The photogenic afternoon tea features a three-tier dessert stand with freshly ground coffee - perfect for chilling with friends while snapping Instagram-worthy shots.
