Wutong Mountain ⛰️

We climbed Wutong Mountain on a humid summer morning, the trail winding steadily upward through dense bamboo and moss-covered stone. The deeper we went, the quieter it became just the rustle of leaves, the steady rhythm of our steps, and the occasional call of birds echoing through the trees. The path felt ancient, like it had been walked for generations before us. Mist clung to the canopy above, and each clearing offered a breath of cooler air and glimpses of the sprawling city below, softened by distance. 🌿🥾🌫️

At the summit, we found a breeze strong enough to lift the sweat from our skin. Locals sat in silence near prayer flags, sipping warm tea from thermoses, their eyes half-closed to the view. The stillness didn’t ask for anything it just offered space to breathe. In summer, Wutong Mountain doesn’t challenge you with height or speed. It simply invites you to slow down, listen closer, and feel smaller in the best possible way. 🍃⛰️🍵
