Fairy Lake Botanical Garden 🌺 🍃

We wandered into Fairy Lake Botanical Garden just as the morning heat began to rise, the paths already dappled with sun filtering through layers of bamboo and palm. The garden didn’t unfold all at once it revealed itself slowly: a quiet pond here, a burst of orchids there, the soft rush of a waterfall somewhere out of sight. We followed stone trails through lush green, where dragonflies hovered low and the scent of damp earth wrapped around everything. The stillness wasn’t empty it felt full of quiet life. 🌿🌸🦋

By the time we reached the Taoist temple near the lake, the cicadas had started their midday chorus, loud but oddly soothing. We sat under the shade of a tall tree, sipping cool water and watching lilies open one petal at a time. The garden didn’t ask us to explore every corner it simply offered spaces to pause, breathe, and soften. In summer, Fairy Lake feels more like a dream than a place green, slow, and always just a little out of reach. 🪷🌳🍃
