A family in the clouds

Two days ago, I took advantage of the weekend to cross the mainland from Hong Kong to Shenzhen. The most exciting itinerary is to climb the skyscraper in Shenzhen, the tallest skyscraper in Shenzhen and the 5th highest-ranked skyscraper in the world, the inter-cloud sightseeing floor of the Ping An Financial Center.

The whole city can be seen from an altitude of 547.6 meters, and the children will giggle

We took the HSR from West Kowloon to Fuk Tin Station. The whole journey takes less than 15 minutes, which is super convenient. Then change to the MTR to "Exit D of Shopping Park Station" and walk for a few minutes to Ping An Financial Centre. Take the high-speed elevator up and you’ll reach the 116th floor in just 55 seconds, which is 547.6 meters high, which is an exaggeration.

Once out of the elevator, the kids immediately rushed to the glass window, looking at the whole of Shenzhen and seeing the Northern District of Hong Kong, everyone giggled. You can see Hong Kong in the south, Shenzhen Bay in the west, the high-rise buildings in Huaqiang North to the east, and Lotus Hill Park to the north. The view is so beautiful that you can't wait to leave.

The check-in is great, and the high-altitude photos of the whole family are super stylish

The design of the sightseeing floor is beautiful. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows are big and bright, which is great for taking pictures. Our family also played in the mirror maze for a long time, the kids loved the light and shadow tunnel, it was like entering a fairy tale world.

There is also a VR area where you can play interactively, and kids with glasses can’t wait to leave. The best part is the green screen photo area, where you can synthesize high-altitude photo shoots, as if our family was floating over the city, super commemorative value.

Cultural surprise: Lu Xun Light and Film Exhibition, unexpected harvest

Just in time, there is the "Light and Shadow Exhibition of Searching for Lu Xun", which displays hundreds of precious photos telling the story of Lu Xun's life. Although children may not know Lu Xun, the atmosphere of the exhibition is so quiet and solemn that even they can be fascinated by it. What an unexpected cultural surprise for us adults.

Hong Kong residents discount + transportation tips

There is a discount for Hong Kong residents on site. Just show your ID card or return home permit to get a discount. There are also special surprises on your birthday, affordable and thoughtful.

Recommended to all Hong Kong families, in one weekend and a high-speed rail ticket, you can climb to the top of Shenzhen, see the city scenery and feel life at different heights.
