Summer Trip to Shenzhen: Fengyan Ancient Temple

Fengyan Ancient Temple is located halfway up Phoenix Mountain in Bao'an District, Shenzhen. It takes about 10-15 minutes of climbing stairs from the base of the mountain to reach the temple.

According to online sources, the temple is known for its reputation in granting wishes for romantic relationships. However, upon arrival, the number of visitors was quite sparse, likely due to the scorching summer heat deterring locals from hiking up the mountain to worship.

At the front of the temple, there is a small viewing platform offering scenic views of Bao'an District and the Qianhai area.

Transportation: While it is theoretically possible to reach the temple by car, there is no public transportation servicing the mountain section. Therefore, visitors must hike up from the base of the mountain.
