Tao Tao Ju, a long-established restaurant in Guangzhou, is well-known locally. It now has several branches in Shenzhen, and while its upscale menu is quite affordable, it's not exactly cheap. It happened to be a weekday afternoon tea time, and there was a group buy deal online for afternoon tea, so I immediately decided to give it a try. Because it was a weekday, there were only a few tables, and the restaurant felt spacious and upscale. The set menu included several signature dim sum and specialty drinks. The portions were generous and the presentation was good, and the taste was similar to the main restaurant. It's a good value, worth a try.
