🪱Guide to Shenzhen's "Giant Earthworm Cave": A Secret Base of Light, Shadow, and Ecology
Hidden in Nanshan, the "Earthworm Hill" is a real surprise! It's not a real wormhole, but a simulated, enlarged earthworm habitat. The earthy yellow walls are covered with greenery, making it feel like stepping into a fairytale world from Hayao Miyazaki. ✨ It's free and easy to take photos.
Photography Tip: Choose a sunny day between 3-4 pm. The sun shines through the small windows in the cave, creating stunning silhouettes or profile shots. 📸 Wear solid white or black clothing to create a striking contrast with the rugged cave walls, making for effortless photos.
Tips: Navigate to the southwest gate of the "Soil and Water Conservation Technology Demonstration Park" and turn right after entering. The park is closed on Mondays, so remember to use mosquito repellent. After exploring the cave, walk along the wooden plank road. From the top, you can overlook the Xili Reservoir and its surroundings. There's also the Shenzhen Polytechnic Food Court nearby for great food. 🥢
