Shenzhen Xianhu Botanical Garden is an ideal place for picnics and scenic views in the fall. The garden's tranquil environment and rich autumn atmosphere are particularly captivating, with the cactus area being particularly impressive. Access is easy: take Metro Line 2 to Xianhu Road Station, Exit B1, and walk for about 15 minutes. We recommend leaving early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Admission is only 15 yuan, making it a great value. The garden is divided into sections. Start by exploring the Palm Garden and Yinjiang Plants Hall, then head to the Desert Botanical Garden. This garden boasts the most extensive collection of cacti in South China, with a wide variety of shapes, including spiky, spherical, and columnar. Photography is exquisite in the soft autumn sunlight. From the observation deck, you can enjoy panoramic views of Hongfa Temple and the autumn forest. Bring water and snacks with you, and rest areas are available within the garden. The entire walk takes about 2-3 hours, making it a great way to enjoy a leisurely trip with your family or friends.
