Shenzhen Fairy Lake Botanical Garden's Shade Garden features art pieces?!

In Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, if you ask ten visitors where the Shade Garden is, chances are none of them can answer. This is understandable, as the highly popular attractions like the Heavenly Grassland, Fairy Lake's light and shadow, the bald cypress trees, and the giant cacti in the Cactus Garden overshadow this small corner (though it actually spans a decent 1.2 hectares).

The Shade Garden is located on the west side of the Heavenly Grassland, near Tianchi (Heavenly Pond). A small stream runs through various sections of the garden, creating a tranquil environment. According to official information, the garden houses nearly a thousand types of shade-loving plants, including mosses, ferns, gesneriads, begonias, and more. Most of these plants are unfamiliar and rarely seen.

While there are no vibrant flowers here, many of the plants have stunning leaves. Some leaves are covered in polka dots, reminiscent of Yayoi Kusama's dotted creations; others look as if they've been painted with graffiti, making them quite intriguing!

When visiting the Heavenly Grassland, consider taking a stroll through the Shade Garden—it will surely surprise you!
