Basic Information:
- Address: No. 2093 Nanshan Avenue, Nanshan District, Shenzhen.
- Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-18:00, extended to 21:00 on Saturdays, closed on Mondays (except public holidays).
- Tickets: Basic exhibitions are free and do not require reservations; some special exhibitions, such as "Great Achievements of Dunhuang—Dunhuang Culture and Art Exhibition," require paid reservations.
Transportation Guide:
- Metro: Take Line 1 or Line 12 to Taoyuan Station, Exit B.
- Bus: Take bus routes 122, 234, 337, etc., and get off at Nanshan Cultural and Sports Center Station, or take routes 223, 332, etc., and get off at City Sixth Hospital Station.
Exhibition Recommendations:
- Permanent Exhibitions: Includes "Ancient Nanshan," "Modern Nanshan," and "History of Nanshan's Reform and Opening-up," showcasing Nanshan's development from ancient times to the present. Free and no reservation required.
- Special Exhibition: "Alphonse Mucha—Art Nouveau and the 1900 Paris World Exposition" special exhibition, from August 6 to November 9, 2025, in Exhibition Hall No. 1 on the first floor. Free and no reservation required. The exhibits include oil paintings, prints, and various other art forms.
Visitor Notes:
- Food and drinks are prohibited inside the museum. Some exhibits prohibit photography or require flash to be turned off; please pay attention to signs.
- It is recommended to allocate half a day to a full day for the visit. If attending special exhibitions, it is advisable to learn about the exhibition in advance to better appreciate the artworks.
