Do you have taste? High-end luxury brand stores in Shenzhen's Houhai MixC City

Shenzhen: The Houhai Metro station and the MixC City, which has opened in two phases, are now fully operational.

You don't necessarily have to buy luxury brands to visit and see what defines 'high-end.' If you understand and appreciate it, that's enough. Maybe you like to shop and have the means to do so—congratulations! Then this is the place for you. Personally, I rarely buy luxury brands in China or Southeast Asia due to budget constraints. I usually shop abroad in Europe, the US, or Canada, where prices are significantly cheaper. I don't have a particular fondness for luxury brands, but their tailoring and materials are undeniably excellent. For instance, I once saw a silk pajama set priced at around 4,600 RMB. Previously, I bought a silk pajama set in Suzhou for about 800 RMB from a century-old store, and the quality was exceptional with a high thread count. I was thrilled with that purchase. However, when I saw the 4,000+ RMB price tag for a luxury brand set, I understood that luxury brands have their value and quality assurance.

For example, a single Royal Copenhagen cup costs 800 RMB.

Royal Copenhagen Porcelain
Royal Copenhagen's hand-painted porcelain represents the historical and cultural heritage of Danish art, featuring hand-painted designs and royal craftsmanship.

You need to experience it to truly understand.

Bags, clothes, and more—many global brands have set up shop in Shenzhen's Nanshan MixC City.

Having taste doesn't necessarily mean buying luxury brands. It's about your personal preferences and whether something suits you. Whether something has value depends on your perspective.

The surrounding environment is excellent, with many outdoor sculptures and oversized chairs that are perfect for taking photos. It's worth visiting and capturing some great shots.
