Winter Special: Purple Trumpet Trees at Houhai Park in Shenzhen

Houhai Central River Park is located in Nanshan District, just a 15-minute walk from Bay Station on Shenzhen Metro Line 2, and about a 10-minute drive from Shenzhen Bay Port, making it convenient for Hong Kong residents to visit. Every year from mid to late December, around a hundred purple trumpet trees bloom in the park, mainly concentrated on the sloped grassland. Their pink bell-shaped flowers look like cherry blossoms from a distance, and with the reflection of the river, strolling along the shore feels like being in Japan!

After taking photos, you can walk to the greenway of Shenzhen Bay Park, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll with a wide view, taking in the bustling city and the beautiful mountain and sea scenery along the way.
