Admire the stunning cherry blossom gardens in Shibata City, Miyagi Prefecture 🌸🇯🇵

This is considered one of the most beautiful cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan.

You can walk along the Shiroushi River to admire the beautiful cherry blossoms from JR Funaoka Station to Ogawara Station. It's a really easy walk! 😊

Getting here:
🚃 Take the JR Tohoku main line from Sendai to Funaoka Station.
🚘 Parking is available at Funaoka Castle Ruin Park (fee required).
🎫 The riverside park is free to enter and open 24 hours.
⏱️ The cherry blossoms bloom during the 2nd-3rd week of April (depending on the weather).
