Caves, Cliffs & Ancient Vibes

#summervacay Uplistsikhe is like stepping into a prehistoric movie set, but it’s all real. It’s this massive ancient cave city carved right into the rock, and walking around it is honestly such a fun adventure. No signs telling you where to go, just stone paths, tunnels, weird little rooms, and epic views everywhere.

I climbed, crawled, and wandered all over the place like a curious kid. You can totally imagine what life was like there thousands of years ago, markets, houses, even a theater carved into the stone! Some parts are super windy and wide open, so hold onto your hat (literally).

The views of the river and valley below are stunning. Bring water and wear good shoes because there’s a bit of clambering involved, but nothing too crazy.

It’s not super crowded, which makes it feel even cooler. Like you're discovering some forgotten place on your own. If you’re even a little into history or just love dramatic landscapes, Uplistsikhe is a must.
