Located in the heart of Shigatse, Dzongshan Park offers panoramic views of the city and a glimpse into its historical atmosphere. Dzongshan was once the seat of the Karmapa and the starting point for the ancient city of Shigatse. Today, ascending Dzongshan, the remains of ancient buildings with white walls and red roofs are still visible, complementing the nearby Tashilhunpo Monastery.
