Japanese call it Hanamomo (花桃)

It is a peach that is grown only for viewing the flowers
because the fruit is not edible.
The flowers will be dark pink, white and many colors on the same tree
which will bloom at the same time as cherry blossoms
can be found all over Japan.
As for Hanamomo no sato in Nagano
the weather is as cold as the Tohoku region
so the peach blossoms here will bloom to welcome the
Golden Week holidays in Japan.
In the Achi Village area, including Hirugami Onsen, Tsukigawa Onsen and Route 256, which connects the Ina and Kiso Valleys,
more than 5,000 peach trees are planted.
When the flowers bloom, the whole valley looks very bright. 💓
