Kido Pond, located almost in the center of Shiga Kogen in Nagano Prefecture

Located at an altitude of 1,640 meters, this small, crystal-clear pond is surrounded by a birch forest.

Many large carp swim in the pond, and when people approach, they approach in the hopes of being fed.

Free parking is available right in front of the pond, making it very convenient.

Public restrooms and hot spring accommodations are also available.
