The Shioha Shrine at Ichiban-gu Shrine in Ritsu Province contains the Shioha cherry, a local cherry blossom variety that is a natural souvenir of Japan.
This type of cherry blossom is different from the regular cherry blossom one, is a large ball and the petals are more slender and pointed flowering at least a few to two weeks later than Somei Yoshino cherry.
