Mount Amagi

Mt. Amagi runs across the southern part of the Izu Peninsula. It is a steep mountain, as sung in the song "Crossing Amagi," but it is now known as a mountain for mountain climbing. Even though it is steep, it is still possible to climb it in a day. However, you will need equipment as there are some steep sections. It is also known as a famous flower spot in spring. If the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji.
