Road Trip to Shouxian County with Kids | This Hotel Is So Good, You Won't Want to Leave

| This hotel is so good, you won't want to leave. I took a road trip with my kids back to my hometown in Anhui and stopped by the ancient city of Shouxian. I found the Shouxian Zhanye International Hotel online beforehand and booked it for its value and location. It totally blew me away!
🚗 Transportation & Parking
The hotel is right across from the Chu Culture Museum. Navigation takes you right there, and there's a huge free parking lot in the back with charging stations! Parking is always a hassle with kids, so this was a huge plus.👍
🏨 Check-in Experience
The receptionist was super friendly and offered to upgrade us to a family room! The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with a great view of the museum. The carpet was soft, and the bathtub was amazing. 🛁 My kid had a blast taking a bath. The room was also very clean, with bottled water replenished daily and fresh, odorless bedding.
🍳 Breakfast Surprise
Breakfast is served until 10 a.m., which is super convenient! Freshly squeezed juice, freshly made beef soup, local sesame seed cakes… There were so many choices! I especially loved the freshly baked bread rolls. I had to have at least two. 🥐
🎈 Nearby Attractions
The south gate of the ancient city is a 10-minute walk away, and it's super relaxing to ride the hotel's free bikes along the city walls! The museum is right across the street, making it easy to take the kids on a historical tour. The receptionist also recommended a nearby restaurant called Jiangye Restaurant, which serves hearty local dishes. My kid ate two bowls of rice! 🍚
💡 Thoughtful Details
The laundry room on the fourth floor is free to use, and the dryer and iron are perfect for families with kids! It's super convenient to store luggage at the front desk, and they even gave us a small gift when we left. 🎁
This stay completely exceeded my expectations. It's definitely the best value for your money! I've already recommended it to my relatives back home, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shouxian. 🌟
