Lam Takhong Dam, sunset view with cold beer

Who would have thought that a “dam” would become one of the best sunset viewing locations I’ve ever encountered? But “Lam Takong Dam” has made us realize that… just having a good view and a can of cold beer makes life much easier.

In the evening, around 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. is the magical time here. The orange sunlight slowly melts on the water, reflecting and sparkling like gold. The mountains, the sky, and the water are so mellow that even photos can’t fully describe it.

Sit and relax by the dam, the cool breeze blowing gently on your face, playing some music on your phone, and sipping on a cold beer… You don’t even need to go to the Maldives because Lam Takong can give you just as much happiness (or even more if your girlfriend just dumped you).

Most importantly, the atmosphere is safe, there aren’t many people, and there are many places to sit. Whether you come with friends or alone, it’s all cool.

Highly recommended – if you have a free evening and want to relax a bit… drive to Lam Takong and watch the beautiful sunset with your favorite can of beer. Then you’ll know that “small happiness” is just this close.
