A Summer Palace of Delights

I’ve been to some pretty grand palaces, castles and stately homes in my time and nothing I’ve seen comes close to Peles Castle in so many ways. The lavishness of the rooms the sumptuousness of the decorations, the stained glass, the woodwork, the metal work, it’s just incredible. Although it’s called a castle it really is in actuality an exquisite palace.Many tall groups come here and just spend 45 minutes having a lightning tour, I spent three hours and still could’ve stayed longer. Peles Castle can be easily reached from Brasov or Bucharest by train. If you’re visiting Romania in 2025, I cannot recommendPeles Castle enough, you just have to go!
