Kampong Glam for history buffs

If you travel the world to immerse yourself in the local culture and history, then you won’t want to miss out on visiting Kampong Glam in the heart of the city! This neighbourhood used to be portioned out specifically for the Malay community back in Singapore’s early years, and you can still see the far-reaching effects of these Muslim roots even today.

Here you will find many Muslim eateries and shops, as well as the well-known largest mosque right in the centre. There is also a bit of the middle eastern culture here too, a very unique and artsy place to explore!
