Family Fun in Shanwei: A One-Stop Destination for Food, Fun, and Relaxation with Kids

This weekend, we took the kids to Shanwei and stayed at the Yatu Hotel—an absolutely fantastic experience!

📍Prime Location: Right at Jinding Bay, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The sand is fine and soft, and the kids had a blast playing—catching tiny crabs, collecting seashells, and doubling the fun! When they got tired, heading back to the hotel for a break was super convenient.

🏠Comfortable Rooms: We booked a sea-view room, and the little one was thrilled the moment we stepped in. The bedding was soft and cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. The room was spacious, never feeling cramped.

👐Nearby, there’s the Whale Bay Town amusement park, featuring a Ferris wheel, carousel, and a seaside train—perfect for a full day of family fun.

🍱Diverse Dining: The hotel breakfast offers authentic Chaoshan specialties like rice noodle rolls, kway teow, and assorted pastries—the kids loved it. For dinner, we tried the local beef brisket hotpot—tender, flavorful, and paired with a special dipping sauce for the offal. Absolutely delicious!

💁‍♂️Thoughtful Service: The front desk check-in was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly, even gifting the kids sand toys.
