one of the oldest temples in SG

Not the most stunning thing but worthy of a visit. Interesting piece in the history of singapore. Frequented by both locals and tourists alike, this temple is always busy. This is situated right amidst the busy shopping streets of Chinatown.

The presiding deity of this temple is Sri Mariamman. There are shrines of several other Gods like Lord Shiva as Kasi Viswanathar and Goddess Parvathi as Visalakshi, Lord Vinayakar and Murugar, Lord Hanuman, Lord Rama, Goddess Durga. The temple has some colourful beautiful paintings of the deities on the ceiling.
