Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is an underrated gem in the middle of the heartlands. It’s huge, beautifully landscaped, and has a natural river running through it—a refreshing contrast to the city's usual concrete vibe. As a traveler, I loved seeing how locals use the park: morning tai chi groups, kids playing in the water playground, and uncles walking their dogs. There are cute cafes at the edge too. The lush greenery and open fields make it ideal for a peaceful walk or an afternoon picnic. If you want a slice of local life, this park is a great spot.
