Review of the new Minion Land zone at Universal Singapore

The newest zone ✨ that just opened on February 14, 2025 is
Illumination’s Minion Land from the famous movie
“Despicable Me” 🌈 beautifully decorated and super cute. Minions are everywhere, and there are lots of photo spots with many places to take pictures without having to compete.

For those who want Character Meet and Greet,
there are characters from Despicable Me including
Gru / Lucy / Gru’s Girls and the Minions
rotating throughout the day. Besides that, there are also shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, cute shopping stores, plenty of photo corners, and mini-games
such as Banana Cabana or Super Silly Space
Killer✨.

The highlight show of this zone is Minute of Minion
Mayhem featuring the Minions, and characters Margo, Edith,
and Agnes dancing adorably. After the dance, they will stand for photos. The show is performed 4 times daily at 1:40 PM / 3:40 PM / 5:10 PM / 6:45 PM.

There are 3 rides in total. Starting with the first ride, Buggie Boogie, a super cute Minion carousel dancing to hit songs mixed by the Minions. Around it, there are cute photo spots📸.

The second ride is Silly Swirly, a ride like sitting on a balloon spinning in the sky, enjoying a high view of the amusement park.

The last and highlight ride of this zone is Despicable Me:
Minion Mayhem where you get to visit Gru’s house in every nook and cranny. The ride is a 4DX movie experience with full effects, making you feel like you’re transformed into a Minion.
