【Singapore】A Day Touring Famous & Hidden Spots

Singapore is a small country but packed with attractions. Here’s a day combining famous places and hidden spots to spend in Singapore~

① Marina Bay Sands (Photos 1 & 4)
The hotel famous for its infinity pool. It has become a landmark of Singapore with an overwhelming presence. Staying there is a bit pricey, but if you want to enjoy the infinity pool, I recommend staying at least one night. Also, its unique shape stands out even from afar, making for great photo opportunities. In October, the pink flowers are beautiful, and I was able to take some very photogenic shots! Please try to imitate them.

② Merlion (Photo 5)
Another famous spot synonymous with Singapore. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance when I visited 😭 It’s a popular spot for unique photo shoots, so think about different poses to take with the Merlion!

③ Around Esplanade Park (Photos 2 & 3)
There’s a park perfect for a relaxing picnic. Nearby, there’s a bridge that’s very Instagram-worthy. It’s a hidden gem, so if you pass by, it’s a great place to stop and rest. When I visited, there were several aluminum spheres, and some people were enjoying selfies using mirrors! It’s also close to Gardens by the Bay, so definitely check it out.

④ Night Safari (Photo 6)
I didn’t get any good photos because of the low light, but this is a spot you should visit when in Singapore. It’s a bit north of the city center, about an hour by bus. You can ride a tram around the park and observe nocturnal animals. Since nocturnal animals are especially active at night, you might catch some unique moments?! There’s also a food court, so you can relax after the tram ride. It’s recommended to book online in advance. The fee is about 6,000 yen.
