【Singapore】National Orchid Garden

I visited the National Orchid Garden located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens! It showcases over 1,000 species and more than 2,000 hybrids, with seasonal zones representing spring, summer, autumn, and winter through colors, visually designed so beautifully that it felt like walking through a floral kaleidoscope!

The 3-hectare site, utilizing the hilly terrain, features exhibition houses with different temperature and humidity levels such as the "Sembcorp Cool House" and "Tan Hoon Siang Mist House." Among them, the mist house with drifting fog was mystical, providing a cool and soothing atmosphere. Additionally, the VIP Orchid Garden displays honorary orchids named after former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Princess Diana, reflecting the depth of orchid diplomacy!

Along the walking paths, there are waterfalls and streams, and you can also enjoy diverse plant spaces with ferns and bromeliads alongside orchids. It takes about two hours to leisurely explore, and visiting early in the morning allows you to fully enjoy the blooming flowers and refreshing air.

The admission fee for foreign adults is S$15. The local garden shop also offers orchid-themed goods, perfect for souvenir hunting. It was a fulfilling day at one of the world's largest orchid paradises that will satisfy any plant lover 😊
