Heritage Tour at Raffles: A Timeless Experience

This critique is dedicated to the Heritage Tour and Lunch deal obtained at the Raffles Hotel boutique, led by one of the hotel's historians. We've frequented the Raffles Hotel numerous times over the past 20 years, relishing different dining experiences and even partaking in the Raffles Culinary Club before its renovation in 2017. This visit was fortunate; we noticed a subtle sign in the Raffles Boutique about 'heritage tours'. Upon inquiry, we discovered availability for a guided tour and lunch package the next day. The tour initiates at the Boutique and navigates through the hotel's developmental history, including its refurbishment, expansion, a guided stroll through the grounds, along with tales of significant events in the hotel's life and some of its distinguished visitors. We were truly thrilled by the tour and our historian guide was extremely knowledgeable, cordial, and guided us leisurely, addressing all our queries. Post-tour, we relished a delightful lunch in the Courtyard Bar and Restaurant, where the staff were attentive, amiable, and welcoming, culminating in a remarkable experience. The cuisine was exceptional! To cap it all, we returned to the Boutique for shopping (heritage tour attendees receive a 20% discount) and then enjoyed drinks in the Long Bar. It was a memorable experience, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.
