A must-see when visiting Singapore is definitely the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The facility was established in 1859 by British colonizers and is an example of one of the most interesting tropical gardens they established in Southeast Asia. It's a place you can safely return to during an extended stay, as you'll encounter different animals at different times, nature looks different depending on the rainy season currently underway, and so on. Noteworthy is the fact that in 2015 the gardens were added to the UNESCO list, making it the first botanical garden in the world. I especially recommend a visit to the National Orchid Garden where there are as many as 1,000 types of Orchids. 🌺
