Jiuzhai Valley National Park

Jiuzhai Valley National Park (Jiuzhaigou) is a natural reserve and scenic area that has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992.

Covering an area of approximately 72,000 hectares (720 square kilometers), the park features elevations ranging from around 2,000 meters to over 4,800 meters, with some areas consisting of snow-capped mountains.

The park is structured around three main valleys forming a "Y" shape: Rize Valley, Zechawa Valley, and Shuzheng Valley.

Due to the high altitude of certain areas, visitors coming from lower elevations may experience altitude sickness, which can include symptoms like dizziness or difficulty breathing, especially if walking too quickly or not taking adequate rest.

In summary, Jiuzhaigou is a must-visit destination for nature lovers who appreciate stunning landscapes, crystal-clear waters, waterfalls, and vibrant colors of water and trees. Visiting at the right time can offer an unforgettable experience, whether you're into photography, hiking, or simply relaxing and enjoying the views.
