As part of my summer vacation, I explored the evening edition of the Youth Market in Kampung Koh on July 5, and it offered a completely different charm from the morning scene.
By late afternoon, the market was already drawing a crowd. The air was filled with the aroma of sizzling street food, and stalls were lit with warm lights as the sun began to set. Unlike the morning version, this one had a more youthful and vibrant energy, with trendy stalls selling handmade crafts, accessories, snacks, clothing, and cold drinks — perfect for the hot evening.
Live music and chatter added to the lively vibe. I tried some grilled skewers, bubble tea, and local fried snacks, all freshly made and very affordable. There were also stalls run by younger entrepreneurs, giving it that “youth” market feel — creative, colorful, and community-driven.
🌟 Highlights:
• Great street food variety (BBQ, noodles, desserts, iced drinks)
• Youth-run booths with trendy handmade items and fashion
• Relaxed crowd with a family-friendly atmosphere
• Ideal for a casual stroll, light shopping, and a fun evening out
