Upper Kachura Lake is another popular destination to visit in Skardu, it is good for those who do not have much time to visit places which are far away. You can do both Shangri la lake and Upper Kachura Lake together in the same day.

Upper Kachura lake is slightly up the mountain, you will need to hike up for around 15 minutes.

Activities there in the lake includes peddle boat riding and motor boat riding.
