Quiet Healing and Emotional Sea

Sokcho Travel Review –
This Sokcho trip was a getaway from the busy daily life, a chance to relax quietly.

I booked a cozy accommodation near Sokcho Beach, and the view of the sea right outside the window instantly washed away my fatigue upon arrival.

On the first day, I took a leisurely walk along the beach. Listening to the sound of the waves while strolling turned out to be more precious and healing than I had imagined. The photos came out beautifully, making it perfect for capturing memories.

In the evening, I visited Imo's Pocha near Daepo Port and enjoyed flounder sashimi with a glass of soju. The sashimi was fresh and generously portioned, making it ideal even for solo dining.

The next day, I rode the Seoraksan Cable Car to reach Gwongeumseong Fortress. Though the wind was chilly, the breathtaking view of Sokcho city from the top was beyond words.

After descending, I stopped by the Central Market to pick up some Dakgangjeong (sweet and spicy fried chicken) and squid sundae to take home.

📍 Sokcho Beach – A quiet beach perfect for watching the sunrise
📍 Imo's Pocha – A great spot for solo dining with delicious flounder sashimi
📍 Seoraksan Gwongeumseong Fortress – Easily accessible via cable car for stunning views
📍 Central Market – A must-visit for snack shopping

When you need a peaceful retreat, there's no place quite like Sokcho. This trip truly filled my heart and eyes with joy.
