The Qinling Rivers and Mountains Scenic Area is located in Yaoshi Town, Shangzhou District, Shangluo City, at the southern foot of the eastern Qinling Mountains. It's only 90 kilometers from Xi'an and 9 kilometers from the Yaoshi Exit of the Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway. It takes only two hours to reach the scenic area from Xi'an. With an average annual temperature of 15°C, the scenic area is an ideal summer escape.
The scenic area boasts rich tourism resources and a profound history and culture. Its pristine landscapes of mountains, water, rocks, forests, caves, pools, streams, and waterfalls are everywhere, and its unique karst landforms and stone forests are even more unique and rare. It is also a beautiful home to more than a dozen wild animals, including golden pheasants, gazelles, wild boars, sika deer, and musk deer.
The warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate features four distinct seasons, with rain and heat occurring in the same season, and distinct dry and wet seasons in the summer and winter. Avoid the cold winter and travel in spring, summer, and autumn.
