Walking with the Sea Breeze and Old Stories

During my trip to Sokcho, I visited Abai Village. As I entered the village, the charm of the old buildings and narrow alleys heightened the excitement of my journey. Located right next to the seaside, Abai Village exuded a quiet yet picturesque atmosphere that was truly captivating.

Strolling through the village, I came across small cafes and traditional restaurants that were perfect for a short break during the trip. In particular, the Abai Sundae (Korean blood sausage) and Squid Sundae were local delicacies that added to the joy of the journey. The view of the sea intertwined with the village scenery, seen through the alleys, was picture-perfect.

Although it was a brief visit, Abai Village proved to be a must-visit spot in Sokcho, where one can experience both tradition and the sea. Taking a leisurely walk and savoring the stories of the village allows you to fully enjoy the tranquility of the trip.
