Location: Folklore Museum The Institute for Southern Thai Studies, Thaksin University

Ambience: A good museum with lots of information and artifacts about the history, culture, and influence of southern Thailand. Most of the exhibits or displays are in English, but not all. If you want to read everything, it might take a couple of hours. There are also beautiful views of the surrounding area. Admission is 50 baht for Thais and 100 baht for foreigners.
