Friends may have heard of the Jade Dragon from the Plum Blossom Legend, but did you know that there is actually a Yellow Dragon?
🐉Let's get to know the Legend of the Yellow Dragon Temple. The history is that Emperor Yu of the Xia Dynasty came to alleviate the flood in Longhuang and his vehicle was a Yellow Dragon. Later, when his mission was complete, the Yellow Dragon abandoned the Dragon Palace and came to the human world, including building a Jade Pool. Later, in the Ming Dynasty, the Huanglong Temple was built to worship the Yellow Dragon.
⛰️For Huanglong National Park, it is located in the northern part of Sichuan Province, near Jiuzhaigou National Park. To travel, you must book a ticket in advance. For Thais, once you have booked, use your passport to scan to enter the park. You can walk up or take the cable car. If you take the cable car, there is an additional charge. When you reach the top, you have to take another small bus. If you want to walk to see the Jade Pool and the temple, you have to walk up to get there.
👉🏻When we went, it was November, which was the beginning of winter. The Jade Pool had turned into ice and was covered in snow, so we couldn't see the color of the jade. Instead, we saw the Kima Sea, which was beautiful in a different way. The air up there was very thin. It is recommended to buy a canned oxygen. You will definitely use it.
🏯 Huanglong Temple There is a statue of a Buddha inside. Tourists go to worship inside and continuously admire the beauty of the temple.
If you have a chance to visit Jiuzhaigou, stop by Huanglong. It is not far away. But you have to leave some time to walk because there is less air up there. It is recommended to walk slowly and do not rush because you will get tired more easily than usual. ✌🏻
