Cruise trip | Finland to Sweden on a budget

In Northern Europe, where prices are high, both transportation and accommodation are expensive without exception, which can be a problem. 😣
Here are some cruise ships that can serve as both transportation and accommodation.
🚢Tallink Silja Line
Helsinki Port → Stockholm Port
💰Price per person: From 110€ (Economy Cabin)
⚠️Prices vary depending on the season.
Higher in summer and cheaper in winter.
📍Helsinki Port
Satamatalo, Olympiaranta 3, 00140 Helsinki
About 15-20 minutes by tram from Central Station
📍Stockholm Port
Hamnpirsvägen 10, 115 42 Stockholm
3 subway stops from Central Station, 15 minutes walk from the station
All of these are closer than the airport and convenient for sightseeing.
The inside of the cruise ship is very beautiful and so well-equipped that it's hard to believe it's inside a ship.
I booked a windowless economy cabin, but they upgraded me to a room with a window☺️
I stayed alone, but it seems that if there are two people it will be a bunk bed.
There was a toilet and shower, and I was surprised that the hot water was strong!
Dinner at the buffet restaurant was about 50€, but there was a wide variety of food, and it was reasonable considering that it was in Northern Europe🍽️
On the rooftop deck there was a small pool and a play area like a children's park.
If you depart from Helsinki, you can see the tourist spot Suomenlinna Fortress shortly after departure.
If you make an effort to go out to the deck at sunrise, you can see a beautiful sunrise🌅
There are also duty-free shops, club-like bars, and cabarets, and there is always something going on until around midnight, so you won't get bored at all.
It was a long 16-hour trip, but it felt like it went by in a flash😊
It's a highly recommended plan because you can get around for the cost of a one-night stay in a hotel🚢
