The National Museum of Sweden in Stockholm is the country's largest and most important national art gallery. It is located by the sea on the Blåssholmen peninsula. Inside, there are a variety of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and designs from the 16th to the 20th centuries. There are works by famous Swedish artists such as Carl Larsson and Anders Zorn, as well as world-class artists such as Rembrandt and Manet. The Renaissance building is beautiful and the atmosphere is open and airy, making it easy to walk around.
