Guanfengtai, also known as Guanxiangtai, is located on a hill adjacent to the present-day Provincial Party Committee, overlooking the Nanming River. Legend has it that during the Shu Han Dynasty's southern expedition to Zangke, General Ma Zhong stationed his troops there. It was once one of the " Eight Scenic Spots of Guiyang " during the Qing Dynasty , known as " Fengtai Stepping on the Grass . " It was designated a Guiyang Municipal Cultural Relic Protection Site in September 1983 .
